IP Based Frequency Capping for Revive Adserver is used to limit the number of views from same/particular IP. The plugin will calculate the views based on each IP and if the impression of a particular customer reaches the limit, the plugin will stop delivering the ads from that campaign to that IP and continues to deliver the ads from that campaign after the reset time period.

The plugin allows the advertiser & publisher to set the view limit for the advertisements and the Delivery capping limit and reset time option are available for campaigns and zones.

So we recommend buying this plug-in to achieve these features.

The IP exclusion list allows users to manually enter the IP addresses of users and set view limit 0 who they don’t want seeing their ads.
You might consider blocking a competitor's IP so they can't see your ads, particularly if you're bidding on their brand terms.
there are several reasons you may want to block a specific IP
